Guess and Tell- The Conclusion and also Sundry Sunday

Are you ready? Are you really really ready? Bizarre Black Plastic Thingy is...

The Vidal Sassoon Fan Tail- "Create the latest look in messy up-do's in seconds!"

You're supposed to use it to make a cute messy ponytail, which makes lca's guess of using it to make a bun the closest. Luckily she said "bun" and not "ponytail" or I would be out a million bucks, and I was kinda saving that to build a time machine so I could go back in time and hang out with Jimmy Stewart. There's just something about that Elwood P. Dowd...

Anyway, there you have it. A completely useless and stupid piece of crap that doesn't work. Lca almost-wins, and Mir gets mega super bonus points for her guess of an "uncomfortable diaphragm."

My random thoughts for the week:

1. My throat hurts.

2. I find it sad that playing Prince Malcolm in my 6th grade class's production of "Macbeth" was the highlight of my career as a performer.

3. Why did Oprah spend 15 minutes talking about what a good job her hairdresser did decorating her freaking mansion of a guest house? This is supposed to be inspiring and interesting how?

4. I recently realized that Grover is my Sesame Street alter-ego. And I think this is very revealing about me.

5. HOW does the pretzel inside the Hershey's Take 5 candy bar stay so fantastically CRUNCHY? I just don't get it!

Aw, the messy ponytail thingy doesn't work? I think my hair might be too long for it anyway. Just so you know, the headband with a bunch of little clips on top so you can get that caribbean twisted bangs look doesn't work either.

I love your blog, by the way!

Random Replies To Your Random Notes:

1. I'm sorry!

2. I got to be Mary, mother of Jesus in 7th grade. That's my big claim to performing fame. Of course, I had not one word to speak, just had to kneel there, holding a plastic doll in a manger. And my legs went numb so when it was time for the exit, I almost fell.

3. Her hairdresser decorates too? I wonder if Oprah has the Vidal Hair thingy?

4. Grover is my absolute favorite Sesame character. I'm sad my kids are almost too old for Sesame any more. Last week, though, my four-year-old and I discovered what time it's on again so we may be back to viewing daily. One can hope!

5. I had my first TAKE 5 today! Awesome! It is like the perfect PMS food, isn't it?

Heatheranne- I can't believe you mentioned that headband! I bought that on the SAME DAY I bought the Fan Tail thing. It seemed like such a great idea, but you're right- it totally doesn't work!

Stephanie- You rock at those word verification sentences. Very impressive!

Okay.
I never would have guessed it.
That is quite the contraption. How on earth did you ever figure out how to use that thing.
I know that I would not be able to.... someone would have to do it for me.
