The Best Question Ever
"Mommy, what does green smell like?"
I told her I think it smells like freshly cut grass in the summer.
What do you think it smells like?
Hmmm...grass is good. I guess I would say summer.
Yes, summer... or pine trees with snow on them. Yummmm.
Right now, Christmas trees. Definitely Christmas trees.
But in general, chloryphll. Or um, chlorophyll. Chloryphyl? Aww crap.
Hm, is that question anything like, "Mommy, what does water taste like?".
Ok, I finally have to ask, how did you get such a perfectly smooth, beautiful round pregnant belly in that picture? And why does the rest of you look so small and petite? Would you consider surrogacy?
Or a golf course on a sunny day... ooh Christmas trees is good.
Have you smelled those candles that smell exactly like fresh cut grass? How in the heck do they do that!
Too bad my kids are asking me questions like, "Mom, why are you getting a mustache?" Your child is definitely on the Higher IQ side--you breast fed, didn't you? ; )
I like Karen's question. Your daughter's is good too. So cute, it makes me want to be a child again.
I absolutely love the innocent questions children come up with! Children are so precious. I think green smells like pine to me. That fresh pine smell of a Christmas tree or even when you go to the mountains and take a hike and the trees smell wonderful!
Oh, your blog is delightful.
I think you hit the nail on the head. Grass. Or limes.
Pine trees.
ooh, that's a good one. hmmm...i'd say brew her some green tea. there you go. ;)
Like it tastes- the freshly plucked grass, in the mouth! Long time since I've tasted or smelt green :(, should run out right away...
