Self Portrait Tuesday- Personal History

I know this is actually Wednesday, but I'm going to publish my photo for this week's Self Portrait Tuesday anyway. January's challenge is "Personal History", a chance to look back and think about your life. A few days ago, I found an old videotape that my mom took when I was four or five years old. It was so interesting to see myself at that age, especially since my oldest daughter is now almost four! Here is a picture of me watching myself on the video:

I've certainly changed in the last twenty years, but I'd like to think that a part of that carefree, sweet and smiley, innocent little girl lives on in me still.

That's fantastic. And a wonderful idea for a self portrait as well.

That is my favorite reflection of you so far. But then again, I've only been reading for a month or so. But I LOVE this one. We all hope a little bit of those free, innocent years are still in us. I like to think that that little person is reborn in our babies. I see so much of myself in my kids sometimes.

What a creative idea. I'd give anything for home movies of myself at that age.
